Maple Holistics | Natural and Organic Hair Products

Using organic and natural products has become a huge deal over the past few years.  I've incorporated natural products and remedies in my everyday life over the past year or so, and I'm always looking out for new products to try.  Lately I've been testing out a natural shampoo and conditioner by Maple Holstics so I could give you guys a review on it.  They also offer skin care and bath and body products.  Read on to see my review on their natural Argan Oil shampoo and Silk 18 conditioner...

I've been testing these out for the past few weeks, and I've been really happy with the results.  I did have some trouble with the conditioner the first time I used it though.  My biggest tip when using the conditioner is that you might need to take more time to wash it out completely.  I could still feel the conditioner in my hair once it was dry the first time I used it, but now that I make sure to really wash it out, I haven't had that problem ever since.

The smell is quite strong for both the shampoo and conditioner.  It smells like a mix of maple and vanilla, and the vanilla is a lot stronger in the conditioner.  If you have issues with sweet smelling things, this might not be good for you.  I've gotten used to it, and once my hair is dry and styled, the scent really wears off.

As far as how the shampoo and conditioner makes my hair feel, I was very surprised.  Sometimes natural and organic products don't give you the results any other shampoo and conditioner gives, but these made my hair feel really nice.  My hair has shine to it and it's never tangled once I get out the shower.  If you have dry hair, the Silk 18 conditioner will be perfect for you.  It has 18 silk amino acids that help improve moisture retention.  I'm always heat styling my hair, so this helps keep my ends from getting really dry.

The only downside to these products is the price.  Like most natural and organic products, you will have a pay a bit more than you usually would for shampoo and conditioner you would buy at the drugstore.  The price range is about $12-$24 depending on the size you get.

If you are more cautious about the products you use and want to use more natural products, I think these would be perfect for you!  If you are interested in trying these out and receiving a free product from Maple Holistics, click here.  Thank you to Maple Holistics and edumuch.com for making this post possible!
