The Best Waterproof Mascara Remover

Hey everyone!  Today I have a beauty tip to share about coconut oil!  One of my very first blog posts was about the ways I use coconut oil, and I'm sure many of you have already heard about all the ways you can use coconut oil and all the great things that it can do.  I wanted to make a more focused blog post about a specific way I've been using coconut oil lately: using it to remove my eye makeup, especially waterproof mascara.  If you're anything like me, you have to use waterproof mascara because your lashes barely have any curl and can't hold curl very long.  For a long time I would rely on my face wash to get rid of the mascara.  I've tried using makeup wipes, but I didn't like how I would have to rub and tug on my eye to not even get all of it off.  I also couldn't be bothered buying an expensive makeup remover and using cotton pads all the time.

For the past couple of months I've been using coconut oil to remove my eye makeup.  It's a super easy and natural way to get rid of my eye makeup.  The oil is great at breaking down and dissolving eye shadows and mascara.  I don't have to tug or rub my eyes because the oil glides so easily.  All I do is take a tiny amount of oil on my fingers and gently run it across my eyes for about 30 seconds.  You'll start to feel the mascara dissolving.  Then I just rinse my eyes with water and go on with the rest of my skin routine.  It's so easy!  One of the best things about this method is that one jar of coconut oil lasts so long!  You'll definitely get your moneys worth!

Have you tried this eye makeup removing method before?  What other ways do you use coconut oil?  Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!
